Pediatric ENT Center
Young children have immature immune systems and are more prone to infections of the nose, sinus, and ears, especially in the first several years of life.
Who We Treat
Infection of the middle ear (otitis media) is a common problem, particularly for children younger than 3 years of age. The symptoms include fever, earache, and occasional drainage from the ear. Other less dramatic symptoms, but of equal concern, are persistent fussiness or temporary hearing impairment.
