Common Head and Neck Procedures
Tonsillectomy
If your tonsils are overcome by chronic infections, or when their enlargement blocks breathing, the tonsils and/or adenoids may need to be removed. The operation takes about 30 minutes.
Thyroidectomy
The operation removes the lobe of the thyroid gland containing the lump and possibly the isthmus.
